Another podium for Anthony Bongartz in the GK4 Kart Series. At the Mariembourg circuit, the fourteen-year-old driver from the Belgian town of Amel finished second in the IAME X30 Junior category during the fifth round of the championship. It meant the Eurokarting driver repeated his result in the fourth round at Genk.

Rocco Coronel raced in the French IAME Series Championship last weekend at the Circuit International Jean Brun karting circuit in Varennes-sur-Allier. The 12-year-old driver from Victory Lane had a dominant weekend and came out well even under the changing weather conditions. Because the son of Tom Coronel and Paulien Zwart also won the final race, he grabbed a coveted ticket for the IAME World Finals, which will be held at the Portuguese karting circuit of Portimão in November. Coronel scored the ticket at the same circuit where Max Verstappen crowned himself world champion in KZ1 in 2013.

For multiple karting champion Bart Ploeg it was almost routine, picking up a trophy at the annual NK IAME champions' ceremony, but it did not make him any less proud. He had become Dutch champion in the X30 Seniors class. The just seventeen year old karter from Heijningen lives to win. He will hopefully do that again next season. Then as TD Racing's factory driver.
