Reflecting expectations, the first qualifying session of the year for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at the inaugural round at Hockenheimring was highly intense. Taking the first pole position of the year was Prema Racing’s Ferrari Driver Academy driver, Rafael Camara, rewarded for the hard work put in with the team over the winter to be ready for the season’s first event.

With 11 leading teams and a grid of 33 cars the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is ready to be back on the track the upcoming weekend, for the opening round at Hockenheim. The Championship promoted by ACI Sport and Alpine Racing, chosen every year by many high-profile drivers as a fundamental step in a succesful carreer, will involve also this year a quality driver pool, with many of them backed by various academies.

The afternoon in Barcelona unfolded with the last two sessions of the tests, marking the official start of the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season. The penultimate session kicked off right after the lunch break, with Sainteloc Racing’s Theophile Naël setting the pace, recording the best time of 1:37.583. Close behind the French driver, Brando Badoer (Van Amersfoort Racing) performed well, finishing less than three-tenths of a second off the pace.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine has officially fired up its engines for the start of the 2024 season, which, as per tradition, kicks off at the Barcelona circuit, where today the first preseason collective test took place.

Assured of the French F4 Champion title since the day before, Giusti was keen to finish his season with a success. Dominant in Race 3, he achieved his goal. Souta and Barter joined him on the race podium as well as on the Championship podium.

Mathematically, Japanese driver Souta Arao still has a very small chance of winning the title! But on the Paul Ricard circuit, Frenchman Alessandro Giusti and Australian Hugh Barter will be fighting hard for the title of 2022 French F4 Champion...

Better than poleman Alessandro Giusti, Australian Hugh Barter won Race 3 in Valencia, but Giusti is now the Championship leader. Romain Andriolo completed the day's podium.

The drivers of the French F4 Championship had two particularly lively races in Valencia. The Australian Barter then Peugeot successively took the top step of the podium, but Giusti did well in the general classification.

On the circuit in Angerville, in a high-level race meeting, our drivers start making their progress real and our material shows its good qualities. With the French Grand Prix, the Kosmic Kart European tour is starting. A very important event for our colours with 18 chassis at the starting line.

Enzo Peugeot is competing in his fourth season of Karting. At 13 years old, this Beaune native takes everything he can to succeed. 2019 will see him starting in the highest class in his age group, at the heart of the cosmopolitan fields of the European and World FIA Karting Championships. Since the winter break, he has already taken part in three events, in three different countries, and has just taken his first victory at the Genk circuit with his new team VDK Racing.
