Another to record his best finish was New Zealander Nathan Crang.

Josh Fife has claimed his second SP Tools KZ2 Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE in Newcastle on Sunday after an epic series of races that saw a three way title fight go right down to the 25 lap final.

Sam Dicker has taken his maiden SP Tools Australian Kart Championship victory in the KZ2 class at Hume International Raceway in Victoria on Sunday afternoon, staving off a series of challenges. Dicker became the first West Australian since Jake Klarich in 2015 to win a round of the Championship’s premier class.

There were plenty of hard fought battles as the second round of the 2020 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol EDGE concluded in Newcastle on Sunday. The race of the day and arguably the last two seasons of AKC competition was the Cadet 12 Final. After the early running, where competitors got into their stride it developed into a three kart battle between Parolin drivers Lewis Francis, Jenson and Jaxson Burns.

Virgin Australia Supercars Championship regular, James Golding has delivered one of the great upsets in the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship opening round at The Bend Motorsport Park, presented by Castrol EDGE, by taking a stunning victory in the KZ2 category on Sunday.

Queenslander Jason Faint has taken a memorable victory in the second round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE, in Newcastle NSW. Faint led home last round winner Troy Loeskow and perennial front runner, Christopher Hays in Sunday afternoon’s KZ2 Championship final.
