This weekend from March 29 to 31, no less than 283 drivers are expected for the first round of the IAME Series Benelux 2024 in Mariembourg. Rocco Coronel raced in the French IAME Series Championship last weekend at the Circuit International Jean Brun karting circuit in Varennes-sur-Allier. The 12-year-old driver from Victory Lane had a dominant weekend and came out well even under the changing weather conditions. Because the son of Tom Coronel and Paulien Zwart also won the final race, he grabbed a coveted ticket for the IAME World Finals, which will be held at the Portuguese karting circuit of Portimão in November. Coronel scored the ticket at the same circuit where Max Verstappen crowned himself world champion in KZ1 in 2013.

For the second appointment of the championship, the IAME Series Benelux will cross the Belgian border, where the fight will continue at the Circuit de la Métropole in Ostricourt (France).  No fewer than 244 drivers are registered for this race, which continues this weekend.  Among them the first winners of the season, but also pilots determined to take their revenge.  The battle promises to be intense and spectacular on the French circuit!

IAME Belgium has released the ‘new’ 2020 calendar of the IAME Series Benelux, with RACB agreement. The first round will be held at Karting Genk in Belgium (21 - 23 August) followed by the second round at Karting des Fagnes in Mariembourg (25 - 27 September). The third round is in France, Ostricourt (30 October - 1 November) and the final round will be in Mariembourg (22 – 24 November).
