This year's fifth STCC event was held last weekend, September 9th-11th, at Scandinavian Raceway in Sweden. Andreas Bäckman had a strong weekend with pole position in the Qualifying and he won two out of three races. “Fantastic weekend at Anderstorp. The speed was there in all conditions throughout the weekend, and it was great fun to get two wins on the race day”, Andreas Bäckman says.

This year's fourth STCC event was held last weekend, August 18th-20th, at Gelleråsen Arena in Sweden. The siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden today announced that in 2022 they will be racing in two different championships, STCC and TCR Germany, for the first time.
Last time I raced in TCR Germany I was 2nd at the Hockenheimring and close to my first win. My goal for this season is to fight for the top positions in the championship and to take my first win in TCR, Jessica Bäckman says.
